¹Listen to me, you that pursue righteousness,
  you that seek the Lord.
 Look to the rock from which you were hewn,
  and to the quarry from which you were dug.
²Look to Abraham your father
  and to Sarah who bore you;
 for he was but one when I called him,
  but I blessed him and made him many.
³For the Lord will comfort Zion;
  he will comfort all her waste places,
 and will make her wilderness like Eden,
  her desert like the garden of the Lord;
 joy and gladness will be found in her,
  thanksgiving and the voice of song.

⁴Listen to me, my people,
  and give heed to me, my nation;
 for a teaching will go out from me,
  and my justice for a light to the peoples.
⁵I will bring near my deliverance swiftly,
  my salvation has gone out
  and my arms will rule the peoples;
 the coastlands wait for me,
  and for my arm they hope.
⁶Lift up your eyes to the heavens,
  and look at the earth beneath;
 for the heavens will vanish like smoke,
  the earth will wear out like a garment,
  and those who live on it will die like gnats;
 but my salvation will be forever,
  and my deliverance will never be ended.

«Ustedes, los que van tras la justicia
    y buscan al Señor, ¡escúchenme!
Miren la roca de la que fueron tallados,
    la cantera de la que fueron extraídos.
² Miren a Abraham, su padre,
    y a Sara, que los dio a luz.
Cuando yo lo llamé, él era solo uno,
    pero lo bendije y lo multipliqué.
³ Sin duda, el Señor consolará a Sión;
    consolará todas sus ruinas.
Convertirá en un Edén su desierto;
    en huerto del Señor sus tierras secas.
En ella encontrarán alegría y regocijo,
    acción de gracias y música de salmos.

⁴ »Préstame atención, pueblo mío;
    óyeme, nación mía:
porque de mí saldrá la ley,
    y mi justicia será luz para las naciones.
⁵ Ya se acerca mi justicia,
    mi salvación está en camino;
    ¡mi brazo juzgará a las naciones!
Las costas lejanas confían en mí,
    y ponen su esperanza en mi brazo.
⁶ Levanten los ojos al cielo;
    miren la tierra aquí abajo:
como humo se esfumarán los cielos,
    como ropa se gastará la tierra,
    y como moscas morirán sus habitantes.
Pero mi salvación permanecerá para siempre,
    mi justicia nunca fallará.

¹I will give thanks to you, O Lord, with my whole heart;
  before the gods I will sing your praise.
 ²I will bow down toward your holy temple and praise your name, because of your steadfast love and faithfulness;
  for you have glorified your name and your word above all things.
 ³When I called, you answered me;
  you increased my strength within me.
 ⁴All the rulers of the earth will praise you, O Lord,
  when they have heard the words of your mouth. 
 ⁵They will sing of the ways of the Lord,
  that great is the glory of the Lord.
 ⁶The Lord is high, yet cares for the lowly,
  perceiving the haughty from afar.
 ⁷Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you keep me safe;
  you stretch forth your hand against the fury of my enemies; your right hand shall save me.
 ⁸You will make good your purpose for me;
  O Lord, your steadfast love endures forever; do not abandon the works of your hands.

Señor, quiero alabarte de todo corazón,
    y cantarte salmos delante de los dioses.
² Quiero inclinarme hacia tu santo templo
    y alabar tu nombre por tu gran amor y fidelidad.
Porque has exaltado tu nombre y tu palabra
    por sobre todas las cosas.
³ Cuando te llamé, me respondiste;
    me infundiste ánimo y renovaste mis fuerzas.

⁴ Oh Señor, todos los reyes de la tierra
    te alabarán al escuchar tus palabras.
⁵ Celebrarán con cánticos tus caminos,
    porque tu gloria, Señor, es grande.

⁶ El Señor es excelso,
    pero toma en cuenta a los humildes
    y mira de lejos a los orgullosos.
⁷ Aunque pase yo por grandes angustias,
    tú me darás vida;
contra el furor de mis enemigos extenderás la mano:
    ¡tu mano derecha me pondrá a salvo!
⁸ El Señor cumplirá en mí su propósito.
Tu gran amor, Señor, perdura para siempre;
    ¡no abandones la obra de tus manos!

¹I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. ²Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.
  ³For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. ⁴For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, ⁵so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. ⁶We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: prophecy, in proportion to faith; ⁷ministry, in ministering; the teacher, in teaching; ⁸the exhorter, in exhortation; the giver, in generosity; the leader, in diligence; the compassionate, in cheerfulness.

Por lo tanto, hermanos, tomando en cuenta la misericordia de Dios, les ruego que cada uno de ustedes, en adoración espiritual, ofrezca su cuerpo como sacrificio vivo, santo y agradable a Dios. ² No se amolden al mundo actual, sino sean transformados mediante la renovación de su mente. Así podrán comprobar cuál es la voluntad de Dios, buena, agradable y perfecta.

³ Por la gracia que se me ha dado, les digo a todos ustedes: Nadie tenga un concepto de sí más alto que el que debe tener, sino más bien piense de sí mismo con moderación, según la medida de fe que Dios le haya dado. ⁴ Pues, así como cada uno de nosotros tiene un solo cuerpo con muchos miembros, y no todos estos miembros desempeñan la misma función, ⁵ también nosotros, siendo muchos, formamos un solo cuerpo en Cristo, y cada miembro está unido a todos los demás. ⁶ Tenemos dones diferentes, según la gracia que se nos ha dado. Si el don de alguien es el de profecía, que lo use en proporción con su fe; ⁷ si es el de prestar un servicio, que lo preste; si es el de enseñar, que enseñe; ⁸ si es el de animar a otros, que los anime; si es el de socorrer a los necesitados, que dé con generosidad; si es el de dirigir, que dirija con esmero; si es el de mostrar compasión, que lo haga con alegría.

¹³Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” ¹⁴And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, but others Elijah, and still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” ¹⁵He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” ¹⁶Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” ¹⁷And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father in heaven. ¹⁸And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. ¹⁹I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” ²⁰Then he sternly ordered the disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.

¹³ Cuando llegó a la región de Cesarea de Filipo, Jesús preguntó a sus discípulos:

—¿Quién dice la gente que es el Hijo del hombre?

Le respondieron:

¹⁴ —Unos dicen que es Juan el Bautista, otros que Elías, y otros que Jeremías o uno de los profetas.

¹⁵ —Y ustedes, ¿quién dicen que soy yo?

¹⁶ —Tú eres el Cristo, el Hijo del Dios viviente —afirmó Simón Pedro.

¹⁷ —Dichoso tú, Simón, hijo de Jonás —le dijo Jesús—, porque eso no te lo reveló ningún mortal, sino mi Padre que está en el cielo. ¹⁸ Yo te digo que tú eres Pedro, y sobre esta piedra edificaré mi iglesia, y las puertas del reino de la muerte no prevalecerán contra ella. ¹⁹ Te daré las llaves del reino de los cielos; todo lo que ates en la tierra quedará atado en el cielo, y todo lo que desates en la tierra quedará desatado en el cielo.

²⁰ Luego les ordenó a sus discípulos que no dijeran a nadie que él era el Cristo.
